What is Real Woman?

REAL Woman is an independent, Christian organization that exists to equip and encourage women to be who God has created them to be. We do this by providing resources, opportunities, and tools to learn about and share God’s Word. Any woman who desires to learn more about her value and purpose is encouraged to join us on the REAL Woman journey!

How it works

You can follow along with the teaching series on our website and dive deeper into the study using the REAL Woman Workbook. There is no start or end date. You can start and complete the series at your own pace. 

At Your Church
Do you lead women at your church? Utilize this study in a large or small-group setting.

Groups
Gather a group of other women to meet together at your home for videos and discussion.

Independent Study
You can also take part in this study as a party of one!

Who We Are

Donna Gaines

Donna Gaines is the wife of Dr. Steve Gaines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church. She is the mother of four and “Nonna” to 16. She is a Bible teacher, disciple maker, author of four books, and editor of A Daily Women’s Devotional. Donna is the founder and President of the Board of ARISE2Read, a nonprofit focused on breaking the poverty cycle through the gospel and education.

Missie Branch

Missie Branch serves as Assistant Dean of Students to Women and Director of Graduate Life at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina. She is married to Duce Branch and together they have four children. Missie is passionate about women seeing themselves as theologians and disciples first, and is a contributing author to The Whole Woman: Ministering to Her Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength as well as co-host of the Women & Work Podcast.

Jacki King

Jacki King is a Jesus follower, author, and Bible teacher. She has a passion for seeing women fall in love with Jesus and His Word, while challenging them to be on mission in their homes, work places, and communities.  Jacki is a native Texan who now lives in Conway, AR with her husband Josh, Lead Pastor of Second Baptist Conway, along with their 3 boys. She serves as the minister to women at Second Baptist and is the author of The Calling of Eve: How Women of the Bible Inspire Women of the Church.  

Katie McCoy

Katie McCoy serves as Director, Women’s Ministry at Texas Baptists. She holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from Southwestern Seminary (TX), where she served on faculty for five years. She has co-authored a work on the doctrine of humanity as part of the Theology for the People of God series (B&H Academic) and is a frequent speaker and writer on women’s and gender issues.
